International Firearm Homicide Rates


According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, out of 87 countries the United States had the 28th highest firearm homicide rate at 2.97 murders per 100,000 people in 2012. Honduras reported the highest rate at 68.43 gun homicides per 100,000 people.
